As salam o alaikum wa rehmatulahi wa barkatahu dear brothers and sisters,

i want to ask a question for my own satisfaction...
time and again people accuse us of doing shirk when we ask help from Prophets  Alaihis Salaam ., the sahaba  (Rahmatullahi Allaih) and the Ahle bait  Alaihis Salaam .,
i know its definitely permissible to ask from them, and they do answer by the will of Allah of course...  but i wanted to know why do we(the ahle sunnah wal jammah) ask from the pious, when we know they provide us by the will of Allah?why don't we directly ask from Allah???
is it a preferable/blessed act to ask the pious???
please help me find an answer to this....

JazakAllah khair...
